Ellison's research and teaching focus on research ethics and ethics education. She directs the School of Life Science Ethics Program, is an editor for the Online Ethics Center (onlineethics.org), and serves on the APPE board.

Florini holds a doctorate in communication and culture from Indiana University. Her research focuses on the intersection of emerging media, Black American cultural production, and racial politics.
David Gartner teaches Constitutional Law, Law and Democracy, International Institutions, Foreign Relations Law, and Global Health Law and Policy.
