Does personal identification with the intrinsic value of the scientific enterprise strengthen research integrity, or might it paradoxically leave researchers more at risk of ethical misbehavior?

To test this, our project consists of three stages, each aligned with a specific aim:

1. Test the Values Alignments of Researchers

2. Explore the Rationale for Those Values Alignments

3. Recommend Approaches to Reduce Research Misconduct
